    4wd drive into Jim Jim Falls and Gorge
    In Kakadu most waterfalls such as Jim Jim Falls and Jim Jim Gorge (accessed via a difficult 4WD track), where it cascades more than 200m straight off the edge of the escarpment. Best time to visit is during the early dry season (around very late June) as soon as the road reopens. The Falls often shtm"wing later in the season and will certainly look less impressive but the hike into Jim Jim Gorge and swim in the rock pool is worth the trip.
